To visualize the Flash Express organization’s vision, and align the event values with the organization’s identity and direction. With the principle of “In Mind, In Delivery”, Flash Express aimed to celebrate the outstanding milestone and express their gratitude to every stakeholder.
Fears of the global COVID-19 pandemic hit the event industry over the past couple of years. Many events worldwide were facing cancellations and postponements. The Grand Launch of Flash Express Malaysia was unfortunately postponed and rescheduled due to the impacts of the COVID-19 outbreak, public health, social measures, and travel restrictions.
In early 2022, most countries including Malaysia had transformed from a pandemic to an endemic phase and rolled out the relaxation of restrictions around the globe. Organizing a hybrid event with a combination of virtual events and physical events is no doubt a significant challenge. Adopting event safety measures and technology is one of the top priorities.
Hybrid events are now becoming a new standard. As a pioneer event organizer in the industry, we have made the pivot to drive event engagement by delivering the same interactive experience to physical audiences and virtual audiences. With a.c.e event planning for Flash Express Grand Opening, both physical and virtual attendees can simultaneously engage with Opening Remarks, Launch Gimmick, and Live Presentations and experience the event excitement.

The broadcast of the Flash Express tv commercial and company presentation by Flash Express CEO, Mr. Di Wei Jie during the event creates attraction and emotional connection towards Flash Express. By cultivating the in-person experience, Flash Express creates a lasting brand impression on its distinguished guests, industry players, customers, employees, and international investors.
The event program was followed by a special video message from the CEO of Flash Express Group, Mr. Komsan Saelee to express his appreciation for the successful business journey and to reinforce their mission and vision.
In line with Flash Express’s mission as the cross-border e-commerce logistics provider in the region, the Opening Launch perfectly reflects the services of delivering parcels. Welson Sim, the two-time Olympian athlete sparkled the grand launching by making a memorable grand entrance. He drove a yellow scooter into the hall to “deliver” the lightning flash logo as part of the launch gambit. The lightning flash logo was then placed on the special podiums that were lit up by opening VIPs, marking the launch of Flash Express in Malaysia.
Local celebrities and influencers were invited such as local supermodel Amber Chia, actress Bella Astillah, actor Aliff Aziz, Wardina Anuar, and Marsila Hassan, all bringing their colours and charisma to the event.
Virtual audiences will never miss the grand launching excitement as a.c.e provide live streaming of the Flash Express Grand Event on their official Facebook page. While social media is attributed to its wide-reaching scope and generating hype around the event, event audiences are encouraged to share, comment, and engage on multiple channels.
A photo booth and Flash rider mascot were set up in front of the grand hall entrance for event guests to capture enjoyable moments. It was the perfect way to market the event and the brand with a physical touch point. Photo booths and mascots have the power to bring people together, event attendees can post photos to Facebook and social media with predefined hashtags to create a social presence.
A press conference session was held to communicate additional information. Official invitations are sent out for the media conference well in advance, indicating the time and venue of the conference. Flash Express CEO, Mr. Di Wei Jie interacts and answers questions from the press to help Flash Express to reach out to the larger public through media coverage.
In order to make Flash Express Grand Launch more accessible to international event guests, it is important to plan the communication and agenda in detail. Keeping audiences and media engaged throughout the event while delivering valuable content is key to attendees’ satisfaction.
Owen Yap, a professional 8TV newscaster was invited to host Flash Express Grand Launch Malaysia 2022. Owen’s versatility in multilingual speaking in Mandarin and English delivered the brand’s values and communicate key messages to audiences from different countries. During the planning progress, a.c.e worked closely with Owen in discussing the event flows to ensure the smooth flow and optimize the event experience.

With the technical support of a.c.e, the live streaming of the grand event was high-flying on Flash Express's official Facebook page. A record of more than 3,900 viewers witnessed the remarkable moments, with 312 likes and 412 interactions within one hour. Flash Express was impressed with Facebook live's social reach and impressions. It was an effective marketing strategy to spread the event's key messages and introduce Flash Express to the world.
